Sviata Luhovets

Sviata is an associate at Geek Ventures. She is focused on deal sourcing and bringing the most exciting companies to the investment committee.

Before joining Geek Ventures, Sviata worked for a large Ukrainian family office, assisting portfolio companies with financial management and fundraising. She also served as a judge in an acceleration program for young student entrepreneurs in Ukraine. Additionally, Sviata gained experience in the startup world, holding the position of Financial Planning Manager at a Ukrainian peer of Instacart (Zakaz). In this role, she was responsible for budgeting, KPI performance analytics, and reporting to C-level executives about potential improvements.

Prior to transitioning to the investment industry, Sviata spent four years in the international taxation department at EY.

Sviata likes learning about healthy living and technology. She is a yoga enthusiast, and loves ping-pong and cooking.
